Cincinnati officials have released 275 pages about the 2018 football stadium lease with mostly redacted pages, according to Deadspin.
The Cincinnati Enquirer had filed a public records request about the deal for the Paul Brown Stadium, where the Bengals play.
According to the paper, city officials waited six months to even release the materials.
Hamilton County officials claim the redactions were necessary because of attorney-client privilege.
A Hamilton County attorney said that making more information available would “place the county and its taxpayers at a competitive disadvantage.”
As of 2016, Cincinnati taxpayers have paid $920 million dollars for the stadium.
