There’s a new book about Bob Dylan coming this summer. Producer of the “Rolling Thunder Revue” tour and one of Dylan’s oldest friends, Louie Kemp, promises to show the music legend’s “down-to-earth side” in “Dylan & Me.”
Dylan and Kemp met at summer camp in 1953, working together on the iconic 1975 tour, The Band movie “The Last Waltz,” and more ever since. In the upcoming memoir, Kemp shares stories from throughout their friendship that “show the human side” of Dylan.
“All the stories I’m willing to share in this book are stories that don’t violate our friendship,” he explains. “They make him look like one of the boys, which he always was to me.” Pre-order the memoir HERE.
