It’s been 50 years since The Doors released their 1969 album, “The Soft Parade.” In celebration of the big milestone, the album is getting a special reissue due for release on October 18th.
The deluxe edition of the album features rarities like rehearsal recordings, studio outtakes, and newly-recorded bass parts by Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots. The tracklist also includes an early version of the track “Roadhouse Blues,” which would appear on the Doors’ next album “Morrison Hotel.”
The 50th-anniversary edition of “The Soft Parade” will be released as a three-CD, single LP limited to 15,000 copies. Fans can pre-order the set HERE.
