Mindy’s Morning Rush

Mindy’s Morning Rush

If you asked Mindy when she was a kid, what she wanted to be when she grew up, the answer was always a radio DJ! Mindy grew up in Frankfort, KY. She graduated from Franklin County High School in 2001.

Mindy has always had a love for music. If you are brave enough to ride with her, you never know what kind of music you will hear—from The Beatles, Tom Petty, Paul Simon, and more!

Radio has been an incredible ride for Mindy. She started working at the radio station in Frankfort as an intern in 2004, then did overnights, and now she is the host of the morning show, promotions director and the assistant program director. If you work hard enough, your dreams can come true!

Mindy got married in 2017 to her best friend, Trey. They have two fur babies—the cute spoiled poodle mix, Marty (adopted from the Woodford County Humane Society) and Oliver, the cheese loving cat.

Mindy’s goal every morning is wake you up with feel good music and to put a huge smile on your face.
