Demi Moore is baring her soul in her new memoir, “Inside Out.” The way she sees it, “It’s exciting, and yet I feel very vulnerable. There is no cover of a character. It’s not somebody else’s interpretation of me.”

The actress starts by recounting her childhood. Her family moved around the country before settling in Southern California where she was raped when she was 15-years-old. She then talks about balancing her career, raising her daughters, and her marriages – most notably to Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher.

  • Bruce – who wasn’t sure if he wanted to be married – felt like Demi’s career took away from their family. The two, who were together from 1987 to 2000, have three daughters, 31-year-old Rumer, 28-year-old Scout, and 25-year-old Tallulah Belle.
  • When Moore got with Ashton in 2003, she felt like it was a do-over since he was 15 years younger than her. “I could just go back in time and experience what it was like to be young, with him,” she explained. “Much more so than I’d ever been able to experience it when I was actually in my twenties.” She actually got pregnant right after they started dating, but she lost the girl six months into the pregnancy. After they got married in 2005, they tried to get fertility treatments, but her drinking and Vicodin abuse led to their divorce in 2013.
  • Demi went to rehab in the 1980s for drug and alcohol addiction. In January 2012, she collapsed into convulsions at her Los Angeles home after months of partying and drastic weight loss. This time, she was treated for addiction and an eating disorder.

“Inside Out” is dropping on September 24th.
