Skynyrd also took the stage Saturday in Tampa. With the band only playing Friday and Saturday shows on the trek, the next shows are Friday in Dallas and Saturday in Houston. It’s hard to believe that this tour is it for Skynyrd, but original guitarist Gary Rossington‘s health won’t allow him to be out on the road much longer.  They’ll go out in style in what will likely be their final show in their hometown Jacksonville, Florida by playing a stadium show on September 2nd with Kid Rock and Jason Aldean at EverBank Field, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.  They certainly kept going through about as much adversity as any band has ever faced. Time now to celebrate them for it.
